An invitation
There will be Peach and Blueberry Shortcake at my house on Sunday, 5-7 pm, come and go. The three of you and your families are all invited. And if C is still reading here, you’re invited, too.
Each recipe is supposed to make 12 servings, but one of those biscuits is really a lot of biscuit for one serving, so I am going to make 16 biscuits in one variation and 24 in another. And I’m going to use small custard cups for some servings and cereal bowls for others.
Hopefully there will be enough people to eat all of it.

Aww ... sounds delicious! I am heading to a rock show tonight and then to NYC tomorrow—but you should take photos!!

I would love to come, and I would probably even try it, though I’m not a fan of either fruit. Who else are you inviting? And I forgot to mention in my last comment that I won’t be offended if you throw away that wedding picture!

We’re inviting various family members (from all sides, and including GSM (C is out of town, but she’s bringing the kids (we recently discovered we haven’t seen each other for four years (four years! and she lives so close!))), church members, and friends. I’m up to 25, and I have a few more phone calls to make.
We would be there, I promise, if we lived less than 100 miles away…
