Hints and Guesses

A moment ago, it dashed across the living room floor, paused underneath the coffee table, and then fled under the couch.

I am alone with this mouse.

I foresee a trip to the hardware store this afternoon.

 

This object in our backyard really does look like a fur-covered duck, at least from the vantage point of the living room. I might investigate it tomorrow, if it’s still there.

 

Undoubtedly this would have been a better photo had I gotten out of my car.

 

Going back to work has never looked so good.

 

What happened to my weight after several days of eating just a little.

 

Today being a day of rest (more like resting up in my case), I stayed home and enjoyed the view.

 

I felt slightly better than death warmed over today, around the time that this package arrived.
